As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”

The prophetic book of Habakkuk is one of the obscure books of the Bible, but very relevant for our times. The Prophet struggled with one of the central questions of our age: WHY DOES GOD ALLOW BAD THINKS TO HAPPEN?

God is not mentioned by name in the Book of Esther, yet He is there. He does not ‘miraculously’ intervene to rescue His people, yet it is clear that He has arranged for their rescue.

The author of the book of Hebrews is unknown. It is believed to have been written around 67 to 69AD to Jewish Christians outside Palestine, who were at the verge of forsaking their faith and turning back to the Jewish faith because of persecution and discouragement.
